Cooking classes in Tuscany
Valentina is the chef of our “Granaio di Castel di Pugna” restaurant, which is situated on the hills of the Senese Chianti shire. Her love for traditional Tuscan and Senese cuisine makes a cooking lesson in Castel di Pugna becoming a magic experience among seasonal ingredients, perfumes and flavours, being in perfect alchemy with little secrets, great skills and fun.
Upon request, cooking classes can be arranged in Castel di Pugna and, during them, will be cooked a typical Tuscan menu.
The location is unique and dipped inside the hills of the Senese Chianti shire, just a few steps from the historical centre of Siena. The Tuscan class, which lasts for around two hours, is followed by lunch, where plates made by its students will be tasted and paired with our chianti wines.
At the end of the class will be given a certificate of participation.
Here are some of the total plates that will be cooked during the traditional Tuscan cuisine class: homemade bread, handmade pasta, pappa with tomato, panzanella, ribollita, castagnaccio, pici, cantucci and many other delicacies.
