An ancient castle, extremely relevant for the city of Siena

Indeed, the Roman fortress dates back to the XII century and it was an outspot of the Sienese militia, charged with defending the city of Siena. Inside one suite and some rooms have been restored in order to give our guests the chance to relive the atmosphere and traditions of a historical house with all comforts and elegance. Around the castle, the ancient country houses have been lovingly restored into a suite and two apartments to ensure complete independence and privacy to our guests.
Our guests will enjoy the 360° panoramic view of the city and the Sienese hills, the wonderful pool in the olive grove, the wide spaces surrounded by nature and quiet of our environment.
Customers can experience our wine tour which includes promenade in the vineyards, winery visit and tasting of our Chianti DOCG wines.
Our Barbecue Restaurant is opened at dinner even outdoors in the amazing terrace, where you can enjoy the panoramic view of the city. There, you can taste the traditional dishes of our Tuscan cuisine and the best selection of local meat.
Bike lovers can enjoy a tour in Tuscany renting mountain bikes and, on request, it is also available a bike tour in Siena and around with guide and light lunch to discover the wonderful countryside. Tours in Val d’Orcia, Sienese Crete, San Gimignano, Chianti with lunch, dinner and wine tasting.

Suites & Apartments

Bianca Room

Located in the oldest part of the Castle, the white room is characterized by the typical Tuscan beamed ceiling and terracotta floor, white furnishing and fine, grey patterns decorating its walls and embellishing the room. Rosa Room

Located in the oldest part of the Castle, the romantic pink room features floral fabrics and a pink marble sink in the bathroom. It is characterized by the typical Tuscan beamed ceiling and terracotta floor. It gives on to the Villa’s Italian garden. Azzurra Room

Located in the oldest part of the Castle, the blue room is characterized by the typical Tuscan beamed ceiling and terracotta floor. This room is decorated with precious embroidered fabric. Its golden colour recalls the bathroom with its travertine sink. It gives onto the Villa’s Italian garden. Suite Fucsia

Located in the oldest part of the Castle, the fuchsia suite is characterized by the typical Tuscan beamed ceiling and terracotta floor. This accommodation offers a double room, dressing room, living room, single room and bathroom with shower. Decorated in rose and fuchsia tones, it gives onto the Villa’s Italian garden. Suite Nespolo

Thanks to the broad glass wall in the living area, this apartment has a breathtaking view of Siena and the surrounding square, it is also conveniently situated next to a restaurant. It includes a room with double bed and a bathroom with shower. Facilities: heating system, Wi-Fi, LCD TV, hairdryer, minibar, private bathroom.

Cipresso Apartment

This apartment has two rooms featuring double beds, a bathroom complete with shower, as well as a porch that gives onto the nearby olive tree field. It is characterized by its stone walls and brick vaults which have been through a skillful and accurate restoration. Seeing as the internal temperature remains pleasantly fresh even during summertime, there is no need for air conditioning. Facilities: heating system, Wi-Fi, LCD TV, hairdryer, private bathroom.

Tiglio Apartment

This apartment is organized on two floors. The first bedroom is located at ground level, where there is also a bathroom with a shower; while the second, characterized by a romantic atmosphere, is inside an ample mansard where there is also space for either a sofa or an additional bed. The bathroom features a Jacuzzi and gives onto Mount Amiata. Facilities: air conditioning, heating system, Wi-Fi, LCD TV, hairdryer, private bathroom.

Services and activities

The Swimming pool, where amazing views of the Crete Senesi and of Mount Amiata can be enjoyed, is at complete disposal of the guests of the Vintage Residence Villa Cambi and of the Farmhouse.

A boules court and ping-pong table are also available for guests.

Playing tennis (2km) and horseback riding (15km). A golf court, located about 5km away from the farmhouse, is also available on demand.
